My one plus 7 finger print not working please help 4 time reading but 5 time finger print not working
I realize this is an old post, but I just stumbled upon it while searching for a solution to my fingerprint issue on a OnePlus 7t; so, I figured someone else might have this problem and need help.
Problem: several days ago my fingerprint sensor seemingly disappeared entirely from my phone. It wasn’t on ambient screen, lock screen, debit card, car insurance, or even in the settings. I searched the interwebs for a solution and found nothing. Then it occurred to me! Solution: I have always been a no notification on lock screen kind of guy, but I decided to give the lock screen notifications a try. That’s approximately when my fingerprint sensor vanished. I simply changed my settings back to no notifications on lock screen, rebooted, and voila! I am not certain if it was a particular app or the setting in general. I have very few apps allowed to send me notifications, so I’m guessing it’s the setting. Hope this helps someone.
